Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the strategic point of contact for key suppliers and subcontractors; negotiate long-term agreements and oversee subcontract administration for compliance with FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and company requirements.
  • •Lead sourcing and supplier qualification, including make-vs-buy decisions and supplier selection for complex components and assemblies.
  • •Proactively identify and mitigate supply risks (long-lead materials, sole-source dependencies, capacity constraints) and drive cost reduction through competitive sourcing and should-cost modeling.
  • •Recruit, mentor, and develop the procurement team; set objectives, standardize processes and metrics, and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • •Partner with engineering, program management, quality, finance, and production leadership to align procurement decisions with program milestones and budgets.

Salary: USD 166,000 - 220,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • •8+ years of progressive supply chain experience, with at least 3 years in a management or team lead role, preferably in aerospace & defense or regulated manufacturing.
  • •Strong background in procurement, subcontracts, material planning, and warehouse/inventory operations.
  • •Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and ITAR defense contracting practices.
  • •Proven ability to lead complex negotiations and deliver cost, schedule, and quality results; eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
