Key Responsibilities

  • •Review and analyze patient records to identify relevant diagnoses and procedures.
  • •Assign accurate ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on clinical documentation.
  • •Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, payer requirements, and hospital policies.
  • •Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and treatments.
  • •Resolve coding discrepancies and claim denials with the billing department while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Key Requirements

  • •Certification in medical coding (CPC, CCS, or equivalent).
  • •In-depth knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
  • •Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • •Knowledge of hospital information systems and coding software.
  • •Fluent in spoken and written English; Arabic is an advantage.
