Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage, oversee, and direct day-to-day operation and maintenance of Central Energy Plant utility assets and backup generation systems.
  • •Lead hiring, onboarding, and training of CEP and backup generation hourly operations staff.
  • •Supervise hourly workforce and field service engineers, including directing daily activities and supporting backup generation operations.
  • •Ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible operations while meeting contract deliverables and long-term facility quality.
  • •Direct third-party vendors and contractors, understand commercial/contractual obligations, and manage operating & maintenance budgets.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED minimum, with preference for a technical school degree.
  • •8+ years of relevant experience operating, maintaining, and administering powerhouse/utility systems; priority with gas turbines, HRSGs, boilers, chillers, and steam distribution.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain it.
  • •Ability to understand and administer complex commercial agreements for 24/7 reliable energy services.
  • •Working knowledge of plant equipment and systems (e.g., heat exchangers, steam distribution, transformers, motors, pumps, piping/valves, instrumentation, control systems) and energy efficiency practices.
