Key Responsibilities

  • •Assemble and wire medium-voltage sub-assemblies and internal components.
  • •Interpret manufacturing instructions and electrical/mechanical drawings, sketches, and written/verbal directions.
  • •Perform visual inspections before and after assembly, identify nonconforming parts, and troubleshoot as needed.
  • •Use fixtures, gauges, and assembly tools for layout, drilling, sawing, punching, riveting, and painting as required.
  • •Label finished sub-assemblies, organize shipping groups, prepare assemblies for shipment/storage, and complete required checklists and feedback documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • •Experience with hand and pneumatic (air) tools.
  • •No employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position (Eaton won’t support CPT, OPT, STEM OPT, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, or I-485 portability).
  • •Preferred: 3 months of manufacturing experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • •Preferred: South Carolina Manufacturing Certification (SCMC) or equivalent.
