Job Summary

Work with customers to build and productionize data and AI solutions on the Databricks platform. Own architecture and lead design decisions, delivering end-to-end systems across data engineering, ML/AI, and application development. Partner with engineering, product, developer relations, and customer stakeholders to scope delivery, ensure secure and scalable architectures, and provide implementation feedback. Contribute reusable accelerators that help scale outcomes across accounts and influence the product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead production-grade customer technical projects, including reference architectures, custom applications, and data ingestion with ML/AI model integration.
•Guide strategic customers implementing transformational big data and AI applications, working with engagement managers to scope delivery.
•Provide architecture and design guidance, bootstrap or implement customer projects to support understanding, evaluation, and adoption of Databricks.
•Own architecture and design decisions to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with customer needs and Databricks best practices.
•Collaborate with Databricks technical teams and customer stakeholders to deliver engagement technical components and provide product/implementation feedback.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms/analytics, or software engineering.
•Comfortably write code in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
•Knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP), with expertise in at least one.
•Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark, including Spark runtime internals.
•Experience delivering technical projects, managing scope/timelines, and translating complex concepts into measurable outcomes.
