Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead production-grade customer technical projects, including reference architectures, custom applications, and data ingestion with ML/AI model integration.
  • •Guide strategic customers implementing transformational big data and AI applications, working with engagement managers to scope delivery.
  • •Provide architecture and design guidance, bootstrap or implement customer projects to support understanding, evaluation, and adoption of Databricks.
  • •Own architecture and design decisions to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with customer needs and Databricks best practices.
  • •Collaborate with Databricks technical teams and customer stakeholders to deliver engagement technical components and provide product/implementation feedback.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms/analytics, or software engineering.
  • •Comfortably write code in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
  • •Knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP), with expertise in at least one.
  • •Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark, including Spark runtime internals.
  • •Experience delivering technical projects, managing scope/timelines, and translating complex concepts into measurable outcomes.
