Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage delivery of all Heart of Georgia Altamaha TIA 2 (2023–2032) transportation projects.
  • •Lead weekly coordination meetings with GDOT, consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • •Monitor project schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables; identify risks or schedule impacts.
  • •Track progress of GDOT-let design and construction projects and coordinate with local governments on locally let projects.
  • •Develop resurfacing bid packages for GDOT-let projects; review/approve bid packages, invoices, and support program reporting and documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Transportation, or a related field plus 4 years of roadway construction, transportation project management, maintenance, or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices; must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
  • •Experience coordinating with government agencies, consultants, contractors, and local stakeholders.
  • •Experienced organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • •Preferred: GDOT roadway construction/maintenance or transportation program management experience; experience managing transportation improvement or capital programs.
