Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

  • •Design scalable and performant applications, systems and infrastructure for large software projects leveraging MongoDB.
  • •Guide customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies for MongoDB, while clearly communicating business value to stakeholders.
  • •Collaborate with the sales team to drive account success through account planning, opportunity prioritization/qualification and pipeline generation, including technical discovery, demos, proof of value, presentations, sizing and documentation.
  • •Proactively generate demand within the sales territory through self-driven technical initiatives and participation in industry events.
  • •Foster strong customer relationships, build champions and ensure customer success and satisfaction.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •8-11 years in a customer-facing role with minimum 3 years in pre-sales for enterprise software
  • •Minimum of 3 years experience with modern scripting languages (Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or languages such as C/C++, Java, C#
  • •Experience designing scalable, highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-prem environments
  • •Demonstrated ability to review complex architectures with customers and provide optimization guidance
  • •Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills for conveying technical and business concepts to technology and business leadership
