Key Responsibilities

  • •Own key SOX execution workstreams across business process and entity-level and IT controls, including walkthroughs, risk assessment, control design, testing, issue management, documentation, and audit coordination.
  • •Lead walkthroughs, risk assessments, control design evaluations, and testing for significant financial processes such as revenue and order-to-cash, financial close and reporting, procure-to-pay, payroll, treasury, and tax.
  • •Lead IT SOX execution with IT, Security, Business Systems, and Engineering across ITGCs, automated and application controls, IPE, SaaS and internally developed systems, data flows/integrations, deployments, and related access and change management.
  • •Run day-to-day SOX PMO for assigned workstreams by coordinating with US leadership and external auditors on plans, testing/reliance activities, audit requests, dependencies, timelines, and deliverables.
  • •Identify control deficiencies, perform severity and root-cause assessment, partner on conclusions, and drive remediation/validation through issue closure while maintaining scalable, audit-ready control documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of progressive SOX/internal audit/external audit/IT audit/risk advisory experience supporting complex SOX programs in public, IPO-ready, high-growth technology or public accounting/advisory environments.
  • •Hands-on experience across business process and IT controls, including ITGCs, access/privileged access, change management, SDLC, automated/application controls, IPE/system-generated reports, interfaces, and data flows.
  • •Strong knowledge of SOX 404 and ICFR, including scoping, control design and documentation, testing, deficiency evaluation, remediation, and audit methodology.
  • •Experience reviewing SOC 1 reports, including exceptions and complementary user entity controls (CUECs), and assessing impact on the control environment.
  • •Experience evaluating controls across complex financial and technology environments; familiarity with NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday, and related ERP/CRM/HRIS systems is helpful.
