Job Summary

Own end-to-end electrical integration for spacecraft systems, from early architecture through build, system testing, launch-site operations, and flight. Translate vehicle requirements into electrical interfaces, harness designs, channel assignments, configuration files, and released hardware. Lead electrical interface definition and verification across sensors, valves, actuators, controllers, and power/communications, then develop test plans and automated Python tools to validate channel mappings and troubleshoot anomalies.

Key Responsibilities

•Own end-to-end electrical integration across spacecraft, propulsion, cryogenic systems, ground-support equipment, and test infrastructure.
•Serve as the primary avionics interface across propulsion, fluids, structures, thermal, flight software, guidance/navigation/control, manufacturing, and test teams.
•Develop and maintain channel assignments, pin mappings, network architecture, power budgets, and electrical integration requirements, ensuring consistency across schematics, harness drawings, configuration files, and installed hardware.
•Own electrical harnessing and related design deliverables from architecture through schematic/routing/formboards, manufacturing/inspection/installation, and acceptance testing.
•Develop and execute avionics integration and verification campaigns, including test plans, automated scripts, telemetry/data review, and troubleshooting during manufacturing and test.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

•3+ years of professional experience with avionics, electrical systems, vehicle integration, harnessing, instrumentation, or complex electromechanical systems.
•Experience designing, building, integrating, or testing electrical harnesses and avionics hardware.
•Experience reading and creating electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, pinout documentation, and interface-control documents.
•Working knowledge of electrical power distribution, grounding, shielding, signal integrity, and electromagnetic compatibility.
•Experience troubleshooting electrical hardware using oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, logic analyzers, network tools, and other laboratory equipment.
