Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and adjust machine tools on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and precision.
  • •Perform basic part inspection and routine 6S; inspect part quality using a CMM and interpret CMM reports.
  • •Change broken/worn tools; touch off/home the machine and make CNC program offsets for shift/drift or tool wear compensation.
  • •Perform minor preventive maintenance and follow setup instructions to switch between jobs; make CNC program changes as needed.
  • •Support production flow as the supervisor’s right-hand partner by removing barriers, driving accountability, and promoting safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED.
  • •Minimum of 3 years of hands-on CNC setup experience.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain certification to operate powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
  • •Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T.
  • •Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, CMM reports) and strong troubleshooting/communication skills.
