Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Natural Gas business unit’s compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
  • •Provide safety training, plan and deliver safety sessions, and support incident/injury reporting and tracking including report generation.
  • •Interpret OSHA regulatory requirements and provide regulatory citations/references for deficiencies identified by facility personnel, audits, and inspections.
  • •Inspect facilities to identify best practices and EHS deficiencies, and assist in developing and implementing corrective solutions.
  • •Participate in incident investigations using root cause analysis, support PSSR (prestart up reviews), and serve on the Incident Command System (ICS) for emergency incidents.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred; or 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • •Safety or industrial hygiene degree preferred.
  • •Familiarity with hazards and safe operating practices for flammable gases and liquids.
  • •Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, P&IDs, and other diagrams is beneficial.
  • •Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet company insurability requirements; safety certification is preferred but not required.
