Key Responsibilities

•Work with the production manager on coordination and scheduling of workflow within or between plant functional areas to expedite production.
•Serve as a working team leader of mobile equipment operators and determine work procedures and schedules.
•Coordinate with the ops coordinator and workers for timely production, normal inventory maintenance, and development of new products.
•Prepare and distribute required daily reporting.
•Operate material-moving equipment (including forklifts) and interpret/enforce company policies and safety regulations; resolve grievances and recommend production and equipment improvements.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma and at least 1 year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Previous forklift operator experience; operating front end loader, man-lift, and sweeper is preferred.
•Must have project management abilities and a solid understanding of workflow processes to meet specified deadlines with timeliness and accuracy.
•Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to relate effectively at all levels of the organization.
