•Architect and build Legal AI infrastructure, designing and shipping a platform of AI agents and automated workflows for legal work.
•Own an end-to-end agentic workflow for institutional client agreements: ingest markups, evaluate via playbook, generate first-pass redlines, route for human review, and track outcomes.
•Build a cohesive agent platform and governance layer to consolidate fragmented bots into a consistent, documented, maintainable platform.
•Serve as a technical thought partner to Legal leadership, translating legal workflows into engineered systems and engineering constraints back to non-technical stakeholders.
•Define a make-vs-buy strategy by evaluating and retiring third-party legal tech tools in favor of purpose-built internal solutions.

•12+ years of backend software engineering experience shipping production systems at scale.
•Proven experience taking LLM-based applications to production, including evaluation frameworks, grounding, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop design.
•Multi-agent orchestration experience designing and operating systems where AI agents collaborate, hand off work, and escalate to humans appropriately.
•Ability to communicate with and learn from non-technical domain experts, rapidly internalizing complex workflows and translating them into engineered systems.
•Distributed systems fundamentals for document processing, playbook evaluation, routing logic, and audit trails; architect correctly from day one.
