Key Responsibilities

•Manage the IT SOX program, ensuring timely planning, execution, and delivery of ITGC control design and operating effectiveness testing.
•Continuously evaluate SOX in-scope systems and implement required ITGCs using a risk-based approach.
•Perform root cause analysis for ITGC control deficiencies, assess financial reporting impact, and guide sustainable remediation.
•Partner with process and application owners to monitor impacts of business changes on ICFR and facilitate control rationalization and optimization.
•Coordinate with external auditors to evaluate operating effectiveness testing results and lead remediation efforts in line with sampling guidelines.

Key Requirements

•6+ years of experience in SOX compliance, internal audit, or external audit with significant ICFR exposure.
•Experience leading and managing IT SOX efforts in a public company environment with knowledge of SOX, AICPA, COSO, COBIT, and SSAE attestation standards.
•Strong understanding of UNIX, Windows, Oracle, and MS SQL databases, plus ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle.
•Expertise in ITGCs including access controls, change management controls, data integrity controls, and computer operations controls.
•Big 4 or large public accounting firm experience and a professional certification such as ACCA, CA, CPA, CIA, or CISA (or equivalent).
