Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, create, and maintain Migatronic cobot welding programs in-house.
  • •Program new products and modify existing welding programs to meet production requirements.
  • •Set up, teach, and optimize robot welding paths, parameters, and sequences; run welding trials and first-offs for approval.
  • •Troubleshoot programming, welding quality, and equipment issues, and work with engineering and production teams to improve productivity and reduce cycle times.
  • •Design and improve fixtures, jigs, and work-holding solutions; ensure compliance with welding specifications and maintain quality checks, production documentation, and a safe work environment.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience with Migatronic robotic or cobot welding systems.
  • •Strong MIG welding knowledge and practical welding skills, including ability to perform manual MIG/TIG welding when needed.
  • •Experience programming robotic welding applications and setting up welding paths, parameters, and sequences.
  • •Ability to interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols, and understand welding parameter and weld quality requirements.
  • •Knowledge of fixture design and manufacturing processes, plus problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
