Job Summary

Supervise daily production on the assigned value stream for the 2nd shift, leading associates on filing and assembly while ensuring safety, GMP compliance, and consistent quality. Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce waste, labor cost, and downtime while maintaining on-time orders and finished-goods inventory targets. Collect metrics, communicate daily with the Operations Manager, and serve as backup when needed, including root-cause problem solving and corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

•Guide, mentor, and train direct reports to be productive and quality-focused contributors; assign associates to the line and manage shift handoffs with pass up/pass down communication.
•Lead and monitor daily production for the assigned value stream, including line ownership (targets, action items, and achieving results) and ensuring equipment operational performance.
•Ensure safety, GMP compliance, on-time orders, and finished-goods inventory levels; monitor compliance and take timely corrective actions.
•Drive continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives (Safety, Employee Morale, Quality, labor costs, and OEE), solving production issues and minimizing changeovers and downtime.
•Perform data collection and reporting, communicate proactively with the Operations Manager, and supervise/validate line performance during NPD trials.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 70,000 - 85,000 annually

Key Requirements

•4-year BS/BA (preferred) in an engineering discipline, or other relevant study with appropriate experience, with 5-7 years of experience required.
•Proven track record supervising associates in a production environment, preferably drug and/or cosmetic.
•Knowledge of production equipment, safe operating techniques, product capabilities, and troubleshooting methods.
•Team leadership characteristics with the ability to motivate, communicate, and proactively develop associates.
•Knowledge and experience operating in an FDA-GMP environment, plus significant verbal and written communication skills.
