Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the security overlay on AMER opportunities, leading conversations with customers/prospects alongside Solutions Architects and Account Executives.
  • •Design and validate secure ClickHouse Cloud and BYOC deployment patterns, including network isolation, private connectivity, encryption, customer-managed keys, identity federation, and granular access control.
  • •Run threat modeling and architecture reviews, owning the security workstream through POC and production readiness.
  • •Serve as the field authority on compliance posture across SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, plus US regulatory requirements such as FedRAMP, CMMC, and CCPA/CPRA.
  • •Improve the quality and speed of security questionnaires, RFP security sections, DPIAs, and third-party risk reviews, and build a reusable security answer library and playbook.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant customer-facing technical experience in a data platform, analytics, streaming, or database company, with strong data architecture knowledge.
  • •Deep cloud/data security expertise across IAM, key management/cryptography, network isolation, secure multi-tenancy, threat modeling, and audit.
  • •Working knowledge of enterprise security/compliance frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS, plus comfort with US public-sector and privacy requirements.
  • •Credibility with security buyers; ability to confidently present answers to CISOs and security architects.
  • •Ability to translate ClickHouse architecture into controls frameworks that GRC teams recognize.
