Job Summary

Lead and coordinate the full end-to-end bid lifecycle, from qualification and strategy through final contract award for complex public/private tenders. Partner with Sales, Project Management, Technical, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and partners to craft compliant, customer-aligned proposals that maximize win rate while protecting margins. Drive opportunity analysis, planning and financial baselines, risk mitigation, and executive governance, and ensure smooth post-sale handover of won bids.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee the full bid lifecycle from qualification and strategy development through final contract award.
•Assemble and manage virtual, multidisciplinary bid teams and coordinate across Sales, Systems Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Strategy, and others.
•Analyze opportunities including customer requirements, timelines, cost structures, risk profiles, product features, and competitive landscapes.
•Ensure proposals are compliant and commercially sound using knowledge of European tendering rules and relevant market/product portfolios.
•Manage bid planning and financial baselines, mitigate operational and financial risks, present executive deliverables, and hand over won bids for post-sale delivery.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Approximately 3–5 years of dedicated pre-sales bid management experience, leading complex bid teams.
•Experience in telecommunications or a strong project management background overseeing cost, scope, schedule, and risk.
•Fluency in English is required; additional languages (e.g., German) are valued.
•Strong communication, negotiation, and commercial skills; able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
•A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering (preferably Communications, Computer Science, Software), or equivalent education and experience.
