Key Responsibilities

•Full cycle PCB design including requirements gathering, schematic design, component selection, layout supervision or completion, bring-up, test, debugging, and integration with the system
•Development of fuzing circuitry for missile systems
•Collaborate with vehicle development teams to design, document, and produce tailored fuzing systems and effectors
•Develop interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses that connect electronic equipment within the vehicle
•Provide support within other air vehicle subsystem development constraints
•Vendor surveys and evaluation to support sourcing for system components
•Conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews
•Build up and test system components through lab, ground, and flight tests
•Low level firmware development for bring-up and test
•Root cause analysis in support of field operations

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 146,000 - 253,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex boards
•Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, current-probes, test automation)
•Familiarity with interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB
•Knowledge of MCU/CPU/FPGA devices and technologies; modern analog/digital electronics
•Experience with signal integrity/power integrity; data acquisition/testing and project coordination; eligible for U.S. Secret security clearance
