Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a trusted legal advisor to F&II U.S./Canada leadership, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders on legal, compliance, risk, and business matters.
  • •Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (customer, supply, distribution, confidentiality) and assess legal risks with balanced solutions.
  • •Manage commercial disputes, claims, and pre-litigation matters, including advising on dispute prevention and contract enforcement strategies.
  • •Provide guidance on legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements impacting commercial operations in the U.S. and Canada, including emerging legal developments.
  • •Oversee and manage outside counsel and support contracting process improvements, including adoption of AI-driven efficiencies.

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • •10+ years of relevant legal experience, including commercial contracting and negotiation responsibilities, and advising business organizations or clients.
  • •Experience advising on commercial law and providing independent, practical legal advice to meet strategic objectives.
  • •Experience with cross-border transactions and commercial dispute/litigation or dispute-management matters.
