Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide special education and related services in line with each student’s IEP, including instruction, support, and guidance.
  • •Develop compliant IEPs, progress reports, and other state-required special education documentation; facilitate annual IEP meetings.
  • •Coordinate with parents and applicable related service staff to ensure appropriate therapies and provide documentation and interventions as required.
  • •Use assistive technology, accommodations, and modifications to adapt Stride K12 lessons and assessments; ensure inclusion and success in general education settings.
  • •Collect and analyze student data and work samples to monitor progress, prescribe remediation/enrichment, and prepare students for standardized tests.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree AND active state teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
  • •Ability to clear required background check.
  • •Collaborate to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic representations of student data to drive instruction.
  • •Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to receive regular coaching.
