Key Responsibilities

  • •Consult with operating entities to implement and configure core platform components across Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric from deployment to stable production.
  • •Build data integration pipelines connecting operating entity source systems to central platforms using batch and streaming patterns.
  • •Configure capabilities for high availability, access controls, and end-to-end observability.
  • •Extend the platform offering into AI and GenAI scenarios (including Azure AI Foundry) with governed, production-ready foundations.
  • •Deliver reusable components and engineering best practices, including governance/security/data control layers and CI/CD with infrastructure-as-code.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
  • •5+ years implementing or engineering data and analytics platforms in enterprise environments, ideally in financial services/insurance or another regulated industry.
  • •Significant experience with Databricks, including Delta Lake, Unity Catalogue, workflows, and production pipelines.
  • •Practical experience with Azure data services such as Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric.
  • •Strong skills in data integration (ETL/ELT, orchestration like Azure Data Factory/Airflow) plus Python and SQL for production-grade code.
