Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain systems and processes to collect, collate, and report key health and safety information for Executive and Board decision-making.
  • •Lead governance of the H&S system and ensure the efficacy of data held within it, including incident reporting system configuration and enhancements for the whole business.
  • •Collaborate with senior regional leadership to integrate performance and reporting protocols into regional governance.
  • •Ensure accidents, incidents, and near-misses are reported and investigated, with root causes identified and corrective actions implemented; share lessons learned across the organization.
  • •Provide counsel and timely information to management on H&S trends and oversee statistical analysis of incidents and accidents, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international reporting requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in senior health and safety reporting, preferably in construction, heavy industrial, infrastructure, refining, and/or manufacturing environments.
  • •Clear understanding of a H&S management system and experience contributing key procedures within it.
  • •Demonstrated experience administering H&S systems and elements such as reporting, audit, and observation.
  • •Knowledge of RIDDOR incident/injury disease reporting requirements.
  • •Certification from an Occupational Safety & Health accreditation body (e.g., NEBOSH or BCSP).
