Key Responsibilities

  • •Track new technologies from industry and partner vendors and collaborate with hardware architects and cloud product experts on computing and storage solutions.
  • •Develop cloud hardware solutions for computing, storage, database, big data, and edge computing based on cloud product design and operational data.
  • •Partner with cloud product and R&D teams on performance and cost optimization.
  • •Investigate emerging standards and technologies through industry consortiums and contribute research results.
  • •Set up PoCs/prototypes with technology partners and suppliers to evaluate and test new technologies or architectural designs.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related majors.
  • •Deep understanding of computer system architecture and the design principles for CPU, memory, SSD, and network components.
  • •Understand implementation of virtualization technology, database systems, distributed storage systems, and deep learning architecture.
  • •Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • •Preferred: 3+ years in circuit board design, system debugging, power/signal integrity, and thermal solutions, and/or 3+ years in server or storage system architecture or software-hardware co-design.
