Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop software to manage router and LAN switch products as a staff member of the Software Development Department.
  • •Investigate current and future architectures, requirements, and technology needs with internal teams.
  • •Design, code, test, and fix bugs for one or more embedded software functions/modules from basic to detailed design.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally with software development, hardware development, and QA to deliver high-quality products.
  • •Participate in technical and complex problem solving and research new technologies to devise features and solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •1+ years of software development experience in the IT/software industry.
  • •Experience building using UNIX-based OS (Linux, BSD).
  • •Experience developing applications in JavaScript, Python, or other languages.
  • •Experience developing with web frameworks such as Angular or Django.
  • •Knowledge of Layer 2/Layer 3 network protocols and network switch security features; familiarity with REST API, NETCONF, SNMP, Telemetry, and Ansible is a plus.
