Senior hydropower engineering leader responsible for managing and delivering complex hydro projects, leading multi-disciplinary teams, and driving business development across the UK, Ireland, Europe and India (EURI). Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a program manager, project manager, or technical lead, directing teams on major hydropower projects and programs, with a focus on client communication and delivery
•Lead the pursuit of major hydropower projects, leading major proposals and engaging with clients
•Support senior leaders in the development of business strategies for hydropower based on market trends and identify and pursue opportunities within the business line and adjacent sectors
•Lead client-facing activities to develop business with existing clients and win work with new clients, building strong relationships with clients, teaming partners, industry groups, and stakeholders
•Develop strategies and capture plans for major pursuits, aligning with AECOM’s business development strategies and technical capabilities

Key Requirements

•BEng (Hons) degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical or Mechanical or Environmental)
•Chartered status or actively working towards chartership
•Background in civil, electrical, mechanical, environmental or project management experience in the hydropower sector and demonstration of a high degree of technical competence
•Experience leading projects in hydroelectric design – conventional and pumped storage, hydroelectric construction, or hydroelectric commissioning; developing teams and working with international clients
•Membership of a recognized professional body relative to core markets; strong track record of achieving/exceeding financial KPIs and driving business development
