Job Summary

Own emergency preparedness and the fire and life safety program for a fleet of AI power and data center sites, setting standards and driving compliance end to end. Lead fire risk assessments, plan reviews and commissioning with Design and Delivery, and run incident investigations using 5-Why and fault tree analysis. Manage inspection and maintenance programs, track safety KPIs, coordinate with OSHA/state-plan agencies, and travel 50–75% across the fleet.

Key Responsibilities

•Own emergency preparedness end to end, including pre-incident response planning and training with Authorities Having Jurisdiction and Emergency Response Teams.
•Lead facility fire risk assessments and partner with Health and Safety on hazardous materials code compliance (including MAQs, non-compatibles, and AHJ storage/use requirements).
•Own the fire and life safety program, including budget, third-party consultant relationships, and contracted inspection/testing/maintenance with QA review.
•Partner with Design and Delivery on plan review and commissioning so protection is engineered at the design stage.
•Lead incident investigations using 5-Why and fault tree analysis, drive corrective/preventive actions to closure, and serve as site liaison to OSHA/state-plan agencies for inspections and record-keeping.

Travel: Extensive travel

•Perform fire and life safety risk assessments per NFPA, FM, and IFC/IBC requirements and convert findings into safeguards that were built and enacted.
•Manage and develop emergency response team members and fire/safety roles, owning program budgets and vendor relationships.
•Lead root-cause investigations using 5-Why or fault tree analysis and close corrective actions to completion.
