Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead development of high-fidelity plant models for complex electromechanical systems using Dymola, TwinBuilder, Amesim, Modelica, Simulink, and Simscape.
  • •Develop multi-scale, multi-domain models across electrical, mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls-coupled behavior.
  • •Translate first-principles equations and reduced-order formulations into practical, validated, reusable simulation models and libraries.
  • •Build custom model/application development, interfaces, and automation (including compilation, solver configuration, co-simulation setup, and FMU export/import).
  • •Verify/validate/calibrate models and optimize performance; support deployment and runtime integration across MIL/SIL/HIL and development workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Controls Engineering, Applied Physics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • •5+ years of relevant experience in plant modeling, model-based design, physical system simulation, or engineering application development.
  • •Hands-on experience with plant modeling environments such as Dymola, TwinBuilder, Amesim, Modelica-based tools, Simulink, or Simscape.
  • •Expertise translating first-principles physics and mathematical formulations into executable, validated simulation models.
  • •Experience with custom model development (e.g., user-defined components, libraries, or frameworks) and with interfacing models for compilation, co-simulation, or runtime execution.
