Job Summary

Design, deploy, and operate enterprise remote-access VPN infrastructure with a focus on zero-trust architectures and technologies like Tailscale and WireGuard. Own the full lifecycle of VPN systems—from ground-up implementation and policy definition to client distribution, performance optimization, and troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. Partner with engineering and operations teams, automate workflows with Python/CI-CD, and maintain a strong security posture through monitoring, patching, and change management.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide subject matter expertise on network security, firewalls, zero-trust architectures, and best practices for remote access VPNs.
•Architect, design, deploy, and secure enterprise remote access VPN solutions end-to-end, including supporting components.
•Own the full lifecycle of remote access infrastructure from implementation through ongoing management, policy definition, client distribution, and performance optimization.
•Configure, deploy, and support VPN clients across Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android, including advanced troubleshooting.
•Develop automation and CI/CD workflows (Python or similar) to streamline deployment, policy enforcement, monitoring, and maintenance.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of network security experience, or 8+ years of network security experience in lieu of a degree.
•3+ years of experience securing networks, IT infrastructure, applications, endpoints, and/or APIs.
•Deep expertise in remote access VPN infrastructure design and operations.
•Experience securing and managing enterprise network security systems with end-to-end ownership.
•Ability to troubleshoot complex connectivity and performance issues across platforms.
