Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Geophysics, Mining, Geoscience, Civil Engineering, or related field plus 10 years of experience as a Dam Engineer, Geotechnical Engineer, Geotechnical Team Lead, or related occupation.
  • •Alternatively, Master's degree in the listed fields plus 8 years of experience in a related occupation.
  • •Experience in dam and hydropower design and construction.
  • •Experience with dam safety reviews and applicable codes and regulations, including performing review of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports.
  • •Experience in engineering during construction (resident engineering), quality assurance/quality control, and supervising/training staff in geotechnical investigations, analyses, and construction observation.
