Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and assist the team for escalated issues across Check Point/Palo Alto and related network/security problem-solving areas.
  • •Review and approve firewall requests with recommendations, and provide technical sign-off during customer POCs.
  • •Own daily/weekly/monthly checklist and report reviews, submit reports within SLA, and manage shift roster for 24x7 coverage with conflict resolution.
  • •Investigate security incidents, review security alerts and change requests (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Windows patch management), validate changes, and track risk assessment actions through closure.
  • •Guide team members on closing configuration assessment observations and vulnerability assessments, including internal/external penetration test findings, and update SOP/knowledge base articles.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5+ years of experience and experience leading a team as an associate manager/team lead.
  • •Strong expertise in Check Point firewalls (IPS blade, Threat Prevention Blade, Antivirus and Antibot Blade) and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • •Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including routing and switching, VLANs/trunking, DNS/DHCP/ARP, TCP/UDP, VPN technologies, and load balancing.
  • •Experience with Forcepoint or Zscaler Proxy and familiarity with Protector Intrusion Prevention Systems.
  • •Ability to review firewall requests, recommend before approving, and provide technical sign-off during POCs.
