Perform high-quality paint repair and refinishing for vehicles in the workshop, following manufacturers’ standards to maximize customer satisfaction. Provide technical inputs for each job, stay current on product developments for complex repairs, and suggest process improvements to increase efficiency.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Perform paint repair and refinishing on vehicles to manufacturers’ standards while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
•Minimize return jobs and repeat repairs to ensure quality.
•Explain repairs clearly to the service advisor, foreman, other staff, and customers.
•Suggest constructive improvements to work methods, work environment, tools, and equipment to increase workshop efficiency.
•Complete each job with appropriate technical input and stay current on product development for complex automobile repairs.

Key Requirements

•Diploma or degree with a trade certificate/diploma in Painting or Automobile Engineering.
•3-5 years of experience in a well-reputed workshop in a similar paint technician role.
•Strong technical skills in painting and automobile engineering.
•Excellent communication skills to interact with service advisors, foremen, and customers.
