Job Summary

Support the development, maintenance, and updating of apparel and accessories performance standards by gathering insights from product stewardship testing, product safety, quality management, and Voice of Consumer. Partner with brands to incorporate standards into testing manuals, provide stakeholder communication, and help train vendors, suppliers, factories, and laboratories. Assist with proficiency testing, evaluate lab effectiveness, and maintain documentation for the in-house laboratory certification program, processes, DACI, and SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the development, maintenance, and updating of apparel and accessories performance standards and related guidance documents.
•Gather and organize information, trends, and recurring issues from testing services, product safety, quality management, Voice of Consumer data, and global product stewardship teams.
•Work with brands to incorporate approved performance standards and updates into brand-specific testing manuals and execution documents.
•Support training and education for vendors, suppliers, factories, in-house labs, and nominated third-party labs on performance standards and testing platform use.
•Assist with proficiency testing, evaluate certified in-house laboratory effectiveness, and help maintain the in-house laboratory certification program and associated documentation, processes, DACI, and SOPs.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Material Science, Textiles, Product Compliance, or a related field.
•Equivalent experience in a substantially similar industry may be considered in lieu of a degree.
•One to two years of relevant experience supporting standards setting, testing, quality, product stewardship, product safety, regulatory compliance, or a related field (preferred).
•Ability to organize technical information and translate standards into clear guidance and training support materials.
•Experience working with brands, vendors, suppliers, factories, or laboratories (preferred).

Education:Bachelor's in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Material Science, Textiles, Product Compliance (or related field)
