Job Summary

Lead multi-site architectural design and due diligence efforts across public and private projects, from concept development and restoration through design, construction, and completion. Create detailed drawings, specifications, budgets, and construction documents; analyze site and GIS/environmental data; and ensure plans meet applicable codes, safety, structural integrity, and permit requirements. Coordinate cross-functional teams and interact with clients and regulatory agencies, staying current on modern architectural practices and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare detailed drawings, renderings, and 2D/3D illustrations for complex projects and analyze design findings for presentation or decision-making.
•Collect, compile, and analyze site data (e.g., surveys, blueprints, GIS, subsurface utility, environmental and historical data) to support project development and construction.
•Develop building plans, specifications, timelines, and cost estimates; update design plans through coordination with owners, other disciplines, sub-consultants, and clients.
•Oversee and monitor cross-functional teams to execute concurrent projects, including budgets, schedules, technical calculations, permit applications, compliance documentation, and regulatory analysis.
•Coordinate, review, and approve design plans to ensure code and ordinance compliance; interact with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies; prepare technical reports and presentations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a closely related discipline.
•7 to 10 years of relevant post-education experience in architecture.
•Essential professional licensure/certification.
•Strong proficiency in architectural principles, planning, drawing standards, design, and construction management for restorative and new design projects.
•Proficiency with discipline-specific design software (e.g., MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) and technical drawing/visualization skills.
