Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable client service as needed.
  • •Conduct surveillance on the sales floor and using CCTV to identify, observe, apprehend, or deter external theft.
  • •Prepare reports for theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits.
  • •Perform store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections; communicate findings to store leadership and the District Loss Prevention Manager.
  • •Partner with stores and the District Loss Prevention Manager on shrinkage prevention plans and provide new hire/continuous loss prevention training.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 25 - 30 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •1 year of asset protection/loss prevention experience in a retail environment.
  • •Satisfy and maintain all licensing requirements (as required by province or local jurisdiction).
  • •Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • •Ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching on loss prevention techniques.
  • •Availability for flexible hours and days, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to work at multiple locations within a market.
