Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs for power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors.
  • •Diagnose equipment failures and handle repairs in the shop and at customer locations.
  • •Perform safe repair practices, be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements, and maintain complete electronic documentation of work performed.
  • •Set up and operate equipment with other technicians when needed; assist with training lower-level technicians and support equipment/parts pick-up and delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience maintaining, inspecting, and repairing power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment.
  • •Experience calculating nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and reading/understanding schematics.
