Key Responsibilities

  • •Derive hardware specifications for the RF system and MMIC blocks.
  • •Develop MMIC products from initial specification through mass production while ensuring system-level compatibility.
  • •Simulate/model MMIC front-end circuits at circuit and electromagnetic levels, partnering with system architects, modem/DSP, and ASIC engineers to partition functions between hardware and software.
  • •Determine MMIC packaging and implementation approach, working with RF engineers and PCB designers to develop packages/modules.
  • •Evaluate and characterize MMIC prototype performance, and assist with automated test equipment and production testing workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
  • •5+ years of research and/or industry experience in RF/microwave circuit design.
  • •Experience designing GaAs and/or GaN MMICs for linear and non-linear circuits (e.g., power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, mixers, filters, PLLs) including circuit design and layout.
