Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in production scheduling for a production work center, identifying part shortage need dates and projecting long-term rate needs; create rate-based schedules and track constraints across upcoming missions.
  • •Use established schedules to generate stakeholder buy-in on scenarios to determine optimal hardware allocation between new and refurbished units based on customer needs and mission manifest.
  • •Work with production teams to set, track, and execute daily and weekly goals for the work center while supporting overall rate targets under personnel and equipment constraints.
  • •Monitor MRP systems and use SQL queries to identify hardware shortages for upcoming builds and lead efforts to pull needed hardware into production.
  • •Drive schedule risk reduction through capacity analysis and root-cause resolution, and identify opportunities to increase scheduling automation and improve yield, quality, safety, cost, and team efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of manufacturing scheduling, planning, or operations; OR 3+ years of professional experience in manufacturing scheduling, planning, or operations in lieu of a degree.
  • •Experience using ERP/MRP systems in a production environment.
  • •Technical knowledge and skills in coding and computer applications (e.g., MS Office Suite, VBA, Smartsheet, SQL, Confluence, JIRA, Power BI).
  • •Strong problem-solving skills with a bias for speed and accuracy.
