Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish and maintain MEMS sensor architectures (inertial or pressure) based on state-of-the-art knowledge and long-term evolution perspectives.
  • •Define physical principles (mechanics, signal processing, and control) governing the sensor.
  • •Develop the theoretical sensor model and identify error parameters.
  • •Define functional allocations and performance for sensor sub-assemblies (analog/digital electronics, mechanics, and algorithm processing).
  • •Define sensor specifications, justify architecture and design choices, and verify the sensor according to verification strategies.

Key Requirements

  • •A Bac+5 (engineering school or equivalent) and/or PhD in Physics (mechanics, materials), analog or digital electronics, aerospace/space and over 10 years of experience in MEMS sensor development.
  • •Knowledge of MEMS inertial sensors (accelerometer, gyrometer) and pressure sensors; understanding of mechanical model, operating point, and error model.
  • •Experience in MEMS sensor design processes: silicon MEMS fabrication, industrial mechanical assembly, and metrology tooling; ability to guide design and testing.
  • •Expertise in control/actuation and error compensation in sensors; ability to implement operating points and error compensation in electronics (analog/digital).
  • •English proficiency; ability to collaborate in an international environment; willingness to travel briefly for missions in France and abroad.
