Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform database troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and ensure incidents are resolved effectively and quickly.
  • •Contribute to cross-team troubleshooting to address issues across related systems.
  • •Deliver project work including installs, upgrades, and enhancements to database systems under demanding timelines.
  • •Thoroughly document work, share knowledge, and mentor colleagues as needed.
  • •Identify and document procedures/policies/methods and act as a quality gate for new systems introduced into live service, including occasional out-of-hours/weekend support.

Key Requirements

  • •Clustering/DR experience and strong backup & recovery fundamentals for enterprise Oracle databases.
  • •Performance monitoring and tuning experience to troubleshoot and optimize database systems.
  • •Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), along with grid and database patching.
  • •Strong Oracle DBA skills with SQL to DBA standard.
  • •Security/audit/compliance knowledge for databases (Oracle Certified Professional certification is preferred).
