Job Summary

Support the Finance business partner by reconciling agency invoices against timesheet details, including handling weekly time sheet distribution, invoice review for payment, and resolving disputed items. Process travel and expense reports, reconcile agency statements to the general ledger, and follow up on credit notes. Assist with training and development by completing required programs and identifying knowledge gaps through auditing and feedback.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with reconciliations of agency invoices against timesheet details.
•Distribute weekly time sheets to agencies, maintain the web timesheet mailbox, and manage timesheet queries and approvals.
•Process high volumes of invoices, assemble and review invoices for payment, and align invoice payments using weekly timesheet data.
•Reconcile agency statements to ensure accounts are up to date with vendors, including reconciling agency accounts to the general ledger.
•Investigate and clear disputed invoices, provide recommendations, and proactively follow up on credit notes; process travel and expense reports. " + "
•Complete relevant and mandatory training and use knowledge of IMS and WSP procedures to educate self and others.
•Identify knowledge gaps through auditing and provide feedback to management to implement training plans.

Key Requirements

•Tertiary degree in a relevant field (commerce, accounting, finance, or business administration).
•2-3 years’ experience in a finance analyst or finance management role.
•Ability to use spreadsheets, including pivot tables, formulas, sorting/filtering, VLOOKUP, and SUMIFS.
•Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and how they apply to project-related issues.
•Strong analytical mindset and independent judgment with financial implications; effective communication to financial and non-financial audiences.
