Key Responsibilities

  • •Load and unload liquid products into and out of tank cars, tank trucks, shore tanks, ISO containers, totes, ships, and barges safely and efficiently.
  • •Gauge and sample tanks/containers to ensure customer products meet specifications and properly label and record samples.
  • •Assist in loading/offloading and facility/dock connections, including identifying relevant hoses/lines and operating portable pumps.
  • •Properly secure and seal trucks/railcars/containers and purge/blow/pig product lines; apply steam and perform tank temp checks and documentation.
  • •Follow plant operating orders and complete required safety training and meetings while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and reporting spills/unsafe conditions.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •At least six (6) months experience in liquid terminal operations or a similar industrial setting.
  • •Previous experience with railcar, truck, ship, or barge loading and unloading.
  • •Ability to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credential) card.
  • •Ability to communicate in English and follow safety rules, written instructions, and numeric calculations.
