Job Summary

Own the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process for assigned product families, from problem statement documentation through implementation and execution. Prioritize ECO reviews for completeness, bill of materials structure, and product/customer/organizational impact, and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders via boards and routing. Analyze part structures and scope changes, run where-used searches, coach ECO participants, and drive ECO process continuous improvement using KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and manage the ECO process from initial problem statement through implementation and execution.
•Review ECOs for completeness, bill of materials structure, and internal/external and functional product impact.
•Coordinate affected stakeholders, ensuring appropriate Change Implementation Board (CIB) members are included and issues are communicated for correctness.
•Analyze part structures, determine scope/impact of product changes, and perform where-used searches.
•Train/coaching ECO participants, mediate conflicts, and identify continuous improvement opportunities for the ECO process.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•3 to 8 years of experience in mechanical/manufacturing engineering and engineering change work.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Automobile.
•Strong knowledge of Engineering Change Order (ECO) processes, roles, and policies.
•Must have experience with UG NX and good experience with GD&T.
•Experience with BOM management and engineering change management/PLM tools (e.g., Team Center Engineering/TCE, Windchill) and tools like Oracle or SAP.
