Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, optimise, execute, and own advanced SQL queries to extract and analyse large volumes of financial data for financial crime patterns, trends, and anomalies.
  • •Translate complex datasets into actionable insights, dashboards, and Management Information reports for senior stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • •Analyse customer due diligence datasets to detect, communicate, and assess financial crime risks and emerging trends.
  • •Develop and own dashboards, reports, and metrics to track performance and operational efficiency of Customer Due Diligence controls and Customer Risk Assessment models.
  • •Coordinate with Technology to maintain and enhance Customer Risk Assessment models and implementations, and lead automated reporting processes and analytical tools across Customer Due Diligence.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven data analytics experience in a financial crime, risk, or compliance role within financial services.
  • •Strong technical background in data analytics/quantitative analysis using SQL plus Python, R, or SAS (or similar).
  • •Experience translating complex datasets into dashboards and Management Information reports using data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • •Knowledge of Customer Due Diligence regulations and financial crime principles/regulatory frameworks.
  • •A degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field; professional financial crime certifications (e.g., ACAMS, ICA) are desirable.
