Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver psychiatric assessments, ongoing medication management, and evidence-based treatment plans for patients with eating disorders and complex co-occurring conditions.
  • •Monitor vital signs, laboratory data, and clinical indicators to ensure medical stability in outpatient virtual care.
  • •Partner within a multidisciplinary treatment team to establish medical guidelines and individualized care plans.
  • •Coordinate clinical operations with medical assistants and nurses, including ordering labs, prescribing medications, obtaining medical records, and facilitating external care collaboration.
  • •Use EMR messaging and complete timely documentation (within 24 hours) for session notes, medical assessments, and communications with the care team and outside providers as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate of an accredited medical school with an MD or DO degree.
  • •Board-certified or board-eligible in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • •Experience or baseline competence in eating-disorder medical management, including refeeding risk evaluation and managing high-risk psychotropic medications.
  • •Solid foundation in medical stability monitoring within a virtual high-acuity eating-disorder ecosystem.
  • •Preference to be located in the EST timezone and meet IMLC requirements (eligible to obtain LOQ and reside in an IMLC member state).
