Key Responsibilities

  • •Review work orders to assess tools, equipment, time, manpower, and parts; create work orders in SAP and respond quickly to emergency calls.
  • •Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment by disassembling, identifying faulty parts, replacing and reassembling, and testing for proper functionality.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and machinery to keep production on track and minimize downtime.
  • •Install and maintain systems including mechanical equipment and piping as well as electrical controls; install utilities such as water, gas, and drain lines.
  • •Follow company safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout and adhere to GMPs to maintain a safe, compliant plant environment.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED and 1+ years of related experience/training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing, or 4 years of direct industrial maintenance experience.
  • •Vocational Diploma, Technical Diploma, or an associate degree from a technical maintenance or vocational school (preferred).
  • •Ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with team personnel and outside contractors.
  • •Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT).
  • •Understand and follow oral and written instructions; read and execute work orders and translate equipment manuals.
