Job Summary

Own institutional coverage for primary and secondary investment-grade credit securities, building and maintaining relationships through prospecting and account maintenance. Provide market feedback to fixed income traders and syndicate, and generate revenue that exceeds goals set by the Sales Manager. Stay current on new products and industry trends, support referrals across corporate calling officers, represent the department at industry events, and ensure risk accountability within the bank’s risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain customer relationships through prospecting and account maintenance activities.
•Develop and maintain relationships with other corporate calling officers and national verticals within Capital Markets and the DCM Group.
•Provide a manager with monthly recaps of activity and developmental needs.
•Maintain deep knowledge of new products and industry trends, and develop working knowledge of applicable banking services.
•Provide market feedback to fixed income traders and syndicate and generate revenue exceeding the Sales Manager’s goals.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a business-related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
•Five years of corporate bond market sales or institutional coverage experience.
•Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 63 required.
•Thorough knowledge of and ability to use software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg.
•Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain customer relationships through prospecting and account maintenance activities.
