Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage production plans based on sales demand, forecasts, and inventory requirements to meet customer service goals.
  • •Improve forecasting accuracy and demand planning effectiveness and optimize inventory levels to increase customer service.
  • •Implement Sales and Operations processes to maximize site network capacity and support growth opportunities.
  • •Analyze longer-term demand and sales history to recommend actions addressing capacity surpluses, constraints, and production leveling.
  • •Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Transportation to resolve fulfillment issues and maintain KPIs and ERP data for planning.
  • •Work closely with teams on new product launches, transitions, and discontinuations.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years’ experience in planning or a similar role, with demonstrated demand planning experience focused on customer experience.
  • •Experience managing a large number of SKUs in a complex manufacturing environment and creating production plans and inventory strategies.
  • •Strong cross-functional collaboration in a matrix organization, with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • •Advanced data/analytical skills, including data mining and proficiency with MS Excel, plus familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP preferred).
  • •BS in supply chain, operations management, or a business-related field preferred; Lean Six Sigma, project management, and CPIM are valued.
