Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise on sell-side and buy-side transactions, managing engagement workstreams day-to-day and supporting senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • •Oversee transaction delivery including preparation/delivery of information memoranda, management presentations, valuation analysis, and client communications.
  • •Serve as a lynchpin for project execution by driving timelines and communicating project strategy to junior team members; act as the go-to contact on key process matters.
  • •Lead buyer and investor engagement, oversee due diligence workstreams, pre-empt key buyer questions with analysis, and handle relevant commercial and legal considerations (SPAs/APAs).
  • •Support business development by owning elements of deal origination—researching industries, building contact networks, pitching, and contributing to internal/client BD meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Financial Advisory experience as an M&A advisor in professional services, consultancy, or an investment bank, or as an investor in a debt or special situations fund.
  • •Deep understanding of corporate finance and M&A advisory, with experience in or a genuine interest in Special Situations.
  • •Understanding of insolvency and alternative transaction delivery mechanisms, including debt markets, loan agreements, and relevant financial/legal documentation.
  • •Strong deal structuring knowledge (e.g., share vs asset deals; solvent sales vs pre-packs/admins) and capability to develop bespoke M&A strategies.
  • •Excellent numeracy, analytical skills, communication/presentation abilities, and fluent oral and written English.
