Key Responsibilities

  • •Build distributed systems that handle actor-based concurrency, reactive programming, and distributed in-memory data grids for financial technology stacks.
  • •Work on server-side JVM-based projects using the typical Java/Scala ecosystem (Spring, Guice, Guava, Maven, Hibernate, Jetty).
  • •Collaborate with clients in iterative, project-based engagements and help self-organizing teams move quickly to deliver solutions.
  • •Demonstrate a passion for delivering quality code and lead learning sessions within the team.
  • •Guide the team to write commercial-grade software with multithreading and real-time architectures.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of hands-on experience designing and building complex, software applications in core, server-side Java (Java 8+).
  • •5+ years of experience leading Agile teams and taking responsibility for team outcomes.
  • •Experience building RESTful Web Services and expertise in test-driven development (unit and end-to-end testing).
  • •Experience with Agile software development (SCRUM/KANBAN) and CI/CD environments.
  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or related field.
